Characters IconCharacters

Behold, the gremlins that infest my thoughts!
I have many characters AKA "OCs" that I create pretty much without purpose just because it's fun to create little people and give them personalities and woes. This page is an abbreviated list of those who currently mean the most to me and/or I'm developing the most at present, so it will probably keep changing!

The best place to view my characters is on my ToyHouse, a site that is specifically designed to house character profiles. If you want an overall look at all my characters in the same place, with all their pictures, that's the best place to do it. If you just want to view one character's profile and associated artwork, clicking their picture will take you there!

Infraflux IconInfraflux Characters

Infraflux is an alternate future Earth setting that takes place 400 years from now after a semi-magical apocalypse that made everything Weird. Characters in this setting have a huge variety of forms; from humanoid to distinctly not, from organic bipeds to incorporeal digital intelligences. There are many side characters and historical/political figures that I have also created for Infraflux, but they are not listed here.

EBAMTAR IconEBAMTAR Characters

EBAMTAR is a generic modern fantasy setting with magical creatures existing hidden from humanity. Characters are varied but are usually based on mythological creatures and often have the option to shapeshift into a human form, if their natural form isn't humanoid. There's also a bunch of asian dragons because if you know me that's not surprising.

Carnie

Other names: Edward Langport, Boss, Big Head Eddy, Carnifex
Species: Vampire
Pronouns: he
Age: ???
Former mobster vampire who embarked on a dream of creating a travelling carnival that could provide employment opportunities and refuge for offbeat supernaturals who didn't fit in. Night time boss of the Yes You Can Carnival.

Madeline

Other names: Madeline Tosetti
Species: Human
Pronouns: she
Age: 29
A normal human who was made aware of the hidden world of supernaturals thanks to an abusive ex-boyfriend wizard. Still vaguely in shock that oh god these things are REAL but handling it ok. Driver and ride operator for the Yes You Can Carnival.

Beau Boggart

Other names: The Knocker Nag
Species: Boggart, bogeyman etc.
Pronouns: they, he
Age: Ancient
A fear-consuming ancient horrifying shadow monster who decided that actually, their favourite flavour of fear was the "fun scary" kind. Has been in the form of a super spooky clown since people began to be afraid of clowns. Haunted house/ghost train operator, designer, and occupant at the Yes You Can Carnival.

Happon

Other names: Hacchan, Happy, Hachikazu Aokawa, 八本水仙 東青川
Species: Japanese dragon (river/rain aspect)
Pronouns: he, they
Age: ~550 years
A wholesome watery boy! A totally unreliable flake of a lad who adores the western concept of hugs and will hang out with you all day. Dont hire him for part time work.

Kuroyuzu

Other names: Kuro, Kuro-chan, Shou Kurosawa, 黒爪誘果
Species: Japanese dragon (good luck/bad luck aspect)
Pronouns: he
Age: ~250 years
A slightly less wholesome boy, this one enjoys hanging out in shady bars and playing tricks with the luck of gamblers around a table, especially if they're bankrupt morally and overflowing financially. Fundamentally though, still a good dragon, despite the occasional naughtiness.

Enyuu

Other names: Gen Takamori, The Rock of Takamori, 高森大黒鉛石煙幕大佐
Species: Chinese/Japanese dragon mix (earth, metal aspects)
Pronouns: he
Age: ~1600 years
In human form you'd never guess this warm friendly older gentleman in comfy loose clothing is actually an absurdly rich investor looking to support small businesses. In dragon form he has several noticable scars from battles past, but don't worry about those, that's ancient history.

Satoshi

Other names: Takeshi, The Black Fox of Gunpowder Hill, 火薬山の黒狐
Species: Locality deity (kami), "kitsune"
Pronouns: he, it
Age: theoretically as old as his hill
Grumpy spirit of misfortune who befalls misfortune upon himself also. A volcano spirit who has protected his volcanic hill and the village beneath it for hundreds of years, spending most of his time brooding, begrudgingly attending local yokai meetings, and getting drunk.

Black Razor IconBlack Razor Characters

Black Razor is the same as our Earth but the universe is decaying, putting cracks in reality and destabilising the world on a conceptual level. Thematically it's darker than my other headworlds, with crime and mental illness/altered perceptions of reality as a focus. The ToyHouse profiles of Black Razor characters can't be viewed unless you are both over 18 and logged into the ToyHouse site, for my own comfort.

Black Shark

Other names: Many throwaway aliases
Species: Human (Influenced)
Pronouns: he, she, they
Age: ??
A serial killer who has as much identity scrubbed off as possible, even their sex is indeterminate and their gender only dictated by their temporary roles. Their mirrored eyes see where others are looking, and where they have looked.

Simon Blake

Other names: None
Species: Human (Influenced)
Pronouns: he
Age: late 20's
A fussy little jerk who loves his money, Simon uses his ability to control (exclusively yellow) machines to rob banks; hiding under tables while his enormous and powerful "Family" of construction vehicles provide the muscle. And the emotional support.

Bunny / Hat / Rigel

Other names: Bunny often calls Hat "old crow", Hat often calls Bunny "butcher"
Species: Human (Influenced)

When Rigel puts the bunny mask on, then Bunny is there. When he puts the hat on, it's Hat. The three of them live in a pocket dimension that looks like a dusty attic, and Rigel is protected by the other two. Don't trust Bunny. Don't trust Hat.

Blank IconGeneric Sci-Fi Characters

Spaceships and weird science and space furries oh my! Some of these guys have little conceptual niches they share, but most of them could be inserted into any soft or semi-hard scifi setting akin to Star Trek or other scifi tv shows.

Species: Human with various animal genes
Pronouns: he
Age: 55-ish

Klugg

Other names: Klugg
Species: Klugg (genetically engineered hominid, "super human")
Pronouns: Klugg (mostly she)
Age: 5-10, appears mid 20's-ish
Occupation: Probably a supervillain, but currently lowkey about it.
Klugg was created with "the body of the past and the mind of the future", and both of those things proved too deadly to keep Klugg contained. Klugg's looks and Klugg speaking in third person make Klugg easy to underestimate. But watch out!

Carthag

Other names: Shifter K, Shifter
Species: "Shifter" (unknown)
Pronouns: she, it
Age: ??
Occupation: Scifi horror movie antagonist.
My beloved carnivourous slime mold/magnetised iron filings spaghetti monster. Carthag has a human disguise that appears to come with some human thoughts and feelings, enough to make her curious and enjoy conversations with others. The rest of her is basically a predatory plant that will lie in wait on the ceiling and grab people.

Giant cuddly 4th wall breaking energetic magical beast who exists physically by my side in the form of an IRL plushie. Easy candidate for my oldest OC, since she's been around since I was 9. Used to exist in a childhood setting that was a world of dragons, but has long ago escaped.
